Seven Days of Prayer for Soul Searching

It is not always possible to have easy access to a spiritual healer, or, in extreme cases, a deliverance expert or exorcist.

However, if you think that you might be spiritually affected, afflicted or compromised in any way, then the very least we can do is give you some form of support.

Below is a program of Seven Days of Prayer for Soul Searching. Think of it as “spiritual first aid”.

There is great power in ritual.

Please understand as you are saying these prayers that “faith” or “belief” in a Christian sense is not necessary.

God doesn’t care if you doubt. God understands this. God is bigger than that and doesn’t take your doubts personally.

However, what is required from you is your commitment to undergoing a process, even if this process does not seem at first to be effective. Commitment is necessary because by undergoing this process you are giving your spiritual consent to allow the Holy Spirit to heal you, regardless of your cultural or religious background, regardless of your understanding or preconceptions of what The Devil is in any of The Devil’s manifestations, or what The Holy Spirit is in any of The Holy Spirit’s manifestations, or whether or not you believe that The Devil or The Holy Spirit even exists.

My intention is for the afflicted to create a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Please contact a deliverance professional if you are unsure about anything during this process. If one is not available, please do the best you can.

Here, you will be required to enter a program of deep prayer, opening and affirming a conscious channel of communication with God, making a choice, out of your own free will, to allow God to heal you.

It is preferable that you find a quiet place where you can have some privacy and minimal distractions from your communion with God.

During this period of seven days if you have any anointing oil use it to draw the sign of the cross on your forehead as you pray these prayers each day.

Day One – Discussion – Personal Sin

The origin of the concept of sin is that of “error” or “missing the mark. It is important to realize that sin is
correctable. In sinning we stray from the optimal path of our fulfilment as beings and leave the door open
for Spiritual Infestation. In order to correct sin, it is necessary to first recognize our errors and then repent.

Day One – Specific Practice – Personal Sin

Confess to any of your sins out loud – this is more effective than keeping the dialog “within”.
Repent of any sins that might have given the enemy “legal rights” to access of your soul.
If you recognize any particular sin or sins that have opened the door to the bondage you are
seeking deliverance from, it helps to specifically repent of that sin.
Be ruthless and honest with yourself. It is always good to be specific about any and all sins that you can
remember.
Please note that if at any point during these seven days of prayer work, if you feel moved to pray to God
in your own words, feel free to do so whenever you feel inspired to do so.

Day One Prayer – Confession of Sin and Forgiveness

The following prayer is to be said three times in Day One.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Judge.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role not of a condemning judge, but as an honest evaluator
of the decisions that you have made and the life that you have lived.

This prayer is only effective when it is done with sincerity.

Look on me with a heart of mercy, O HOLY SPIRIT, according to Your generous love.
According to Your great compassion, wipe out every consequence of my shameful errors.
Thoroughly cleanse me, inside and out, of all my crooked deeds. Cleanse me of my sins.
For I am fully aware of all I have done wrong, and my guilt is there, staring me in the face.
It was against You, only You, that I sinned, for I know that I have done what You say is wrong, right
before Your eyes.
When You speak, you are in the right.
When You judge, your judgments are pure and true.
Cleanse me of my wickedness with hyssop, and I will be clean.
If You wash me, I will be whiter than snow.
Help me to find joy and happiness and erase my guilt from the record.
Create in me a clean heart, O HOLY SPIRIT; restore within me a sense of being brand new.
Do not cast me away from Your presence.
Do not remove Your presence from me.
Give back to me the deep delight of being saved by You.
Let Your willing Spirit sustain me.
I make this prayer through the BLOOD OF CHRIST by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Day Two – Discussion – Forgiveness

The act of forgiveness is not so much for the benefit of the injurer, but for the injured. If you are injured,
then in forgiving another you heal yourself. However, the person who is forgiven is also healed.

Forgiving someone Is like emptying oneself of a toxin or poison that has the power to destroy you
spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, morally, and even physically. Imagine someone that wants to run
fast. They have to first get rid of any heavy load that might be handicapping them. Thus, it is with
forgiveness. Get rid of all the bitterness, rage and anger, along with every form of malice and thought of
revenge toward the person who has injured you and be set free.
Some believe that those who forgive are weak, but the truth is that the one who lifts the heavy weight and
then throws it away is the strongest. Throwing away the weight is what you do when you forgive.

Day Two – Specific Practice – Forgiveness

Examine your heart for holding any bitterness against others.
Make the firm choice to forgive those who have wronged you.
Affirm that choice by speaking your forgiveness out loud.
Release all bitterness and hurt from your heart against them.

Day Two Prayer – Forgiveness and Repentance

The following prayer is to be said as often as necessary in Day Two.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Redeemer.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Savior, who forgives us as we forgive those who
have “trespassed against us.”
This prayer is only effective when it is done with sincerity.
O HOLY SPIRIT, I thank You for the power of forgiveness.
I know with no doubt that I AM FORGIVEN.
I Repent from holding bitterness in your heart against others and today I forgive those who have wronged
me, and I release the bitterness and hurt from my heart against them.
I choose to forgive everyone who has hurt me.
Help me set [name anyone who has injured you] free. Help me release them to You.
Help me bless those who have hurt me.
Help me walk in righteousness, peace, and joy, demonstrating Your life here on earth.
Of my own free will, I choose to be kind and compassionate, forgiving others, just as You forgave me
when I ask it of you. In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Day Three – Discussion – Soul Ties

A soul tie occurs when someone is involved in a damaging relationship with someone or something. It is a
form of spiritual bondage because a soul tie cuts you off from your conscious awareness of your spiritual
link with the Holy Spirit and are thus “unholy”. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like
magnets, creating co-dependencies in which neither party can achieve their full potential. Soul ties
between others can draw a beaten and abused person to someone whom, if they were not tied, would
naturally avoid. However, enmeshed in the soul tie, both abuser and abused are drawn to each other like
magnets. In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to allow
access to demonic infestation.
Soul ties always originate in an act of sin, that then becomes self-perpetuating.

Day Three – Specific Practice – Soul Ties

Identify your soul ties.
Specifically repent of the sin which caused the soul tie to be formed in the first place.
I use the authority of THE HOLY SPIRIT to break and sever this unholy soul tie of (specifically call the
soul tie that you are focusing on in the moment).

Day Three Prayer – Breaking and Renunciation of Soul Ties

The following prayer is to be said as often as necessary in Day Three.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Breaker of Ties.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Liberator, who breaks the ties that bind us to
unhealthy relationships and addictions, whether it is with people, or practices, substances, feelings or
thoughts.
This prayer is only effective when it is done with sincerity.
O HOLY SPIRIT, I break every soul tie by your power.
I break my soul tie with (specifically call the soul ties which you are praying against).
I use the authority of the HOLY SPIRIT to break the unholy soul tie.
I now renounce, break and cut all unholy soul ties created between myself and
(name of person or thing).
I now renounce, break and cut all unholy soul ties created between myself and the act of
(name the unholy or unhealthy act).
I now renounce, break and cut this soul tie through the BLOOD of Christ and by the power of
the HOLY SPIRIT!

Day Four – Discussion – Unholy Contracts

In common parlance, these are “deals with The Devil”. You enter into an agreement with a being that you perceive to be of greater power than you, so that they can do something that you feel you cannot do, in exchange for some form of payment. Whatever the price it is always a bad deal.

Day Four – Specific Practice – Unholy Contracts

If you have made agreements, or made vows, or entered into contracts with Satan, demons, or any other negative spirits or entities, vows and contracts that do not glorify the SPIRIT OF GOD, then you need to repent and renounce those vows verbally and seek God's forgiveness.
You need to speak these renunciations out loud, be because binding vows are made out loud, so breaking them is also done out loud. Be as specific as possible.

Day Four Prayer – Breaking of Unholy Contracts

The following prayer is to be said as often as necessary in Day Four.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Breaker of Unholy Contracts.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Advocate, who tears apart demonic contracts, who stands by you while you withdraw consent, thus robbing demonic entities of any “legal right” to oppress you, to inhabit your, or to exact payment for what you might have contracted for.

This prayer is only effective when it is done with sincerity.

O HOLY SPIRIT, I repent and renounce the vow I made to (name the demon or person, or even object, that you made the vow to) to (describe what act the vow entailed as your payment) so that, in exchange, (name the demon or person, or even object, that you made the vow to) would provide me with (describe what the entity agreed to provide for you).
I realize this was foolish and rash on my behalf, and I ask that you forgive me and release me from the bondage that this vow has put me under.
In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and nullify the vow.
I affirm that I am released from this vow and its bondage in the name of Jesus Christ.
I now command any evil spirits which have taken advantage of this unholy vow to leave me now by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT in the name of Jesus Christ!

Day Five – Discussion – Ancestral and Familial Curses

There might be trauma and sin in your familial bloodline that is being passed down through the
generations. These sins might have opened the door for manifestations as curses – repeating patterns of
misfortune that plague members of the family over and over, often in the same way.
Even though you personally aren't guilty of those sins and the curses that result from them, they might be
affecting you, and it is your responsibility to liberate yourself from them.

Day Five – Specific Practice – Ancestral and Familial Curses

Identify any of these recurring patterns and invoke the Holy Spirit as your Liberator. Sometimes so much
family history is lost that the original reasons for the curse are lost too. In these cases it is enough simply
to acknowledge the possibility that the ancestral curse might be there, and to seek guidance from The
Holy Spirit for liberation.

Day Five Prayer – Breaking of Curses

The following prayer is to be said as often as necessary in Day Five.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Breaker of Curses.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Redeemer, who vanquishes ancestral iniquity.

This prayer is only effective when it is done with sincerity.

O HOLY SPIRIT In the name of Jesus, I name and confess the sins and iniquities of my ancestors, sins of
(name specific sins if known).
In the name of Jesus, by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT and by the power of His blood,
I now renounce, break and sever all cords of iniquity and generational curses I have
inherited from my parents, grandparents and all other ancestors.
I break and cut all unholy soul ties formed between myself and my parents, grandparents and all other
ancestors.
In the name of Jesus, I now loose myself and any future generations from any bondages
passed down to me from my ancestors.
I command any evil spirits that have taken advantage of these cords of iniquity, generational curses and
unholy soul ties to leave me now in the name of Jesus!
Day Six – Specific Practice – Embracing Spiritual Authority
Having now dealt with both non-legal and legal entry points for spiritual infestation, having broken all
unholy agreements, vows and contracts, and having strengthened your conscious spiritual connection
with God, it is now time to take spiritual authority and expel the attached demons, entities and spirits.
Again, ordering the spirits to depart must be done out loud.

Day 6 Prayer – Asserting Spiritual Authority

The following prayers are to be said as often as necessary in Day Six.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as the Source of Power.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Spiritual Champion, who is at your side and has
your back while you assert your own spiritual authority and you expel the invading spiritual contamination.

These prayers are only effective when they are done with sincerity.

By the power of the HOLY SPIRIT in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth I rebuke you demons and
cast you out my (body, life or home).
If the demonic entities resist, they will speak to you. In such a case then say:
Silence, demons! Come out unclean spirits! Begone by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT in the name of
JESUS CHRIST.

Day Seven – Specific Practice – Occupation of the Divine

This final, very important step must not be missed. Having expelled the evil within you, you have now
become an empty vessel, ready to receive the Holy Spirit. Thus, filled with the Holy Spirit, there is no
room for the invaders to occupy you again.

Day Seven Prayer – Invitation to Be Filled with the Light of the Holy Spirit

The following prayers are to be said as often as necessary in Day Seven.
In this prayer you need to approach God the Father as Holy Purifier and Divine Protector.
You are approaching this aspect of God in the role of Divine Omnipresence, filling you with a conscious
awareness of and suffusion in Divine Love.

These prayers are only effective when they are done with sincerity.

Come, O HOLY SPIRIT and baptize me with the fire of Your Love.
I have surrendered my life, and now I choose to be filled with you.
I need Your power in my life.
Please, come and fill me now.
I believe that when I surrendered completely to you as Lord, we became one.
You are the vine and I am a branch in the vine.
All that you are is within me. My life flows from You from now as I have given you my life.
As I yield and ask, you will release Your healing, Your strength, Your wisdom and Your guidance.
I yield now to receive Your sanctification. I ask this in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth.
O HOLY SPIRIT, I thank You for flooding the deep places of my life with Your divine love.

Coda

You might need to go through this seven-day process more than once.
Understand that each time you do so you will be closer than ever to reestablishing your conscious
connection to God.
If through the Grace of the Holy Spirit you achieve complete deliverance through this method, or with the
later help of a specialist, then repeat the prayer below, out loud at least once a day from the day of
complete deliverance, for a period of twenty-one days.
I thank you, O HOLY SPIRIT, for Your presence with me and withing me, flowing freely in me, through me
and from me.
O HOLY SPIRIT, I thank you for being my friend, my teacher, my comforter, my counsellor, my
intercessor, and for being the giver of extravagant gifts.
I thank you especially, O HOLY SPIRIT, for setting me free.
And, again, if you feel moved to pray to God in your own words, feel free to do so whenever you feel
inspired to do so.
