6 Ways to Raise Your Positive Vibrations
Do you want to improve your well-being and feel lighter each and every day? Well, it’s time to take a step forward and work on some practical ways to raise your vibration or improve your overall state of well-being.
Meditation is proven to help you relax, calm your mind, and gain a deeper understanding of your ideas and feelings. And while it’s quite challenging to practice at first since stillness is a foreign concept in a fast-paced world, meditation is one of the easiest things you can do to raise your vibration. Just allot a few minutes for yourself. Allow yourself to focus on your breath for a few minutes in a tranquil, relaxing environment (or plug in your headphones and listen to nature sounds). Don't worry if your mind wanders and you become distracted; this is entirely normal. Begin to bring it back to the breath with kindness.
2) Spend some time in nature
Get out in nature and take advantage of the sunshine and fresh air. Leave anything that may distract you. Turn off your phone, or better yet, leave it at home, and reconnect with nature to improve your mood and raise your vibration. Green spaces and its natural light and sounds are all thought to be beneficial to your health. Spending time in nature has been shown in several studies to help reduce stress, blood pressure, weariness, and even the risk of cardiovascular and respiratory disorders.
3) Be grateful
Making a gratitude list shifts your focus away from what you don't have and toward what you currently have. There's a lot more to be thankful for than you might think. It can be as simple as the air you breathe, your delicious dinner, your friends, or that item you just bought online. Every night before going to bed, ask yourself what you’re thankful for and you’ll be surprised at how light you feel when you wake up the next morning.
4) Eat whole foods
Your vibration involves physical aspects too so make sure to take care of your body also. Whenever possible, try to consume plant-based foods that aren't harmful to the environment such as leafy green vegetables, fresh fruits, honey, and herbal teas. But more importantly, pay attention to how certain foods make you feel, and don't let your quest for good vibes devolve into a diet mentality.
5) Extend kindness to others
Performing acts of kindness causes us to reflect on how fortunate we are, which makes us feel more energized. Also consider how terrific you feel when you help someone else. You'll quickly notice that performing a random act of kindness to anyone improves your mood. The gesture doesn’t have to be grand. It can be as simple as greeting a stranger, helping a coworker with a task, or making a cup of tea for your loved one.
6) Spend time with those who love and support you
While toxic relationships can drag you down and even negatively affect your mental health, a healthy community can do wonders and help raise your vibration. Say goodbye to relationships that aren’t good for you and cultivate a healthy relationship with encouraging people who you love and support.
